In-Person with Chef Divya Alter

October 8-11, 2026

Fall Cooking Immersion

We’d like to invite you to our next in-person Ayurvedic Cooking Immersion with Chef Divya Alter in New York City this October. This immersive experience is designed to help you deepen your relationship with food, practice healthy cooking and eating habits, and become more confident in the kitchen.

Traditionally, fall is a season of grounding, nourishment, and preparing the body for the colder months ahead. In this hands-on immersion, you'll deepen your Ayurvedic cooking skills by practicing essential techniques such as knife skills, blooming spices, sautéing, stir-frying, roasting, baking, and more—all while connecting with fellow food lovers who value wholesome nourishment and mindful living.

Together, we'll prepare delicious vegetarian recipes* designed to support the seasonal transition. You'll learn how to balance meals with digestive spices, adapt recipes to your constitution and pantry, and bake with whole-grain flours, natural sweeteners, and other nourishing ingredients for healthier everyday treats.

*We're happy to accommodate vegan and gluten-free requests.

An Early Bird discount of $500 is available for the first six registrations or until July 31st, 2026. Space is limited to ensure a personalized experience, so we encourage you to reserve your spot early.

After you register, we'll invite you to complete a short survey about what you'd most like to learn during the immersion. We'll use your feedback to help shape the curriculum and announce the class menus by mid-September, once we've gathered participants' interests and finalized the seasonal recipes.

In the cooking immersion, you will:

  • Have a rare opportunity to practice a variety of Ayurvedic culinary techniques with Chef Divya Alter along with other expert faculty from our Ayurvedic Nutrition & Culinary Training including Chef Rich LaMarita.

  • Enjoy the delicious seasonal meals we prepare and connect deeper with how Ayurvedic food benefits the body and mind

  • Bond with like-minded people and learn from each other

  • Go back home enthused and equipped to cook nourishing meals at home
