Students may complete Foundations on its own or continue to Professional.
*ANACT Foundations certification is required for ANACT Professional.

Two Ways to Join Us
We’ve structured this Foundations training with two enrollment options: Certification and Non-Certification, so you can choose the commitment that best fits your goals and your life.
Certification Option - Recommended
The complete ANACT Foundations experience. Including everything in the Participant option plus approximately 100 additional hours of mentored practice, application, and assessment. You’ll receive the personal support of a small Mentorship Circle led by an ANACT Professional graduate, meeting twice a month for guidance, discussion, and integration.
Practical assignments, the recipe project, and assessments are an important part of this learning path, helping you move beyond simply understanding the material to applying it with greater skill, confidence, and independence. You’ll have opportunities to practice what you learn, receive feedback, identify areas that need strengthening, and integrate the principles more deeply. Upon successful completion, you’ll earn your ANACT Foundations Certificate, receive 28 NAMA PACE credits, and become eligible to enroll in ANACT Professional. Upon graduation, you will receive an ongoing ANACT alumni community access and support
Non-Certification Option
The full ANACT Foundations curriculum and live experience, without assessment or certification. You’ll have access to all recorded and live classes, faculty Q&A sessions, Office Hours, community discussions, and opportunities to connect and learn with fellow students. Follow the full curriculum and participate as much as you wish, while enjoying the flexibility of not having to complete assignments, the recipe project, or exams. This option does not include a certificate, NAMA credits, or eligibility for ANACT Professional.
How We’ll Learn Together
This format allows you to learn from your own kitchen while staying connected with teachers and fellow students throughout the eight months. Every student, in either enrollment option receives:
31 lessons: 11 live and 20 recorded lessons, combining Ayurvedic theory, nutrition, culinary knowledge, cooking demonstrations, and hands-on practice.
Cooking demonstrations. Many classes include cooking demonstrations that allow you to observe techniques, ingredients, and methods in detail, then use the recipes and recordings to practice at home.
15 live faculty Q&A sessions and 28 weekly Office Hours give you opportunities to ask questions, deepen your understanding, and receive support as you work with the material.
A comprehensive online learning platform gives all students access to class recordings, recipes, photos, readings, and supporting resources.
Community gatherings and discussions give all students opportunities to engage with their cohort, share experiences, and learn from one another.
Recordings provide flexibility. Live sessions are recorded, so you can revisit the teaching or catch up when you cannot attend.
Certification Option students also receive:
Small-group mentorship in a Mentorship Circle led by ANACT Professional Graduate, meeting twice a month throughout the program for personal guidance and support.
Feedback on practical assignments and assessments to help you integrate your knowledge and demonstrate competency.
ANACT Alumni Network. Upon successful completion, ongoing access to the ANACT Alumni Network and its continuing education offerings, including gatherings and connection with graduates from every cohort.
