Intro Classes
These one-session classes introduce you to the art of making delicious, easy-to-make vegetarian meals based on the principles of SV Ayurveda. Each class combines group discussion, hands-on cooking, and a well-earned delicious meal for everyone. As Ayurveda aligns health with the rhythm of the seasons, the focus and menu of our introductory cooking classes also change with the seasons. In each class, expect to gain a basic understanding of
- principles that determine whether a particular food is healthy or not for you; 
- how to use and make spice mixtures; 
- how to make entrées, soups, grain dishes, desserts, and teas; 
- the secrets to ensuring your food is easy to digest and assimilate; 
- the application of Ayurvedic principles to any type of cuisine; and 
- reliable resources that support you in accessing optimal food choices at the grocery store, farmers market, and restaurants. 
Fees:
One Person: $100
Two People: $160 instead of $200 (20% off)
